Solarig starts its Services activity in the wind energy sector and strengthens its position as a world leader in Operation & Maintenance

Solarig has started to operate in the wind farm maintenance and operation sector as part of its strategy to diversify its technological activities and respond to the hybridisation of energy projects. Solarig has started working in the maintenance of wind farms in Spain, mainly in Catalonia, Aragon and Andalusia, with Vestas, the world leader in wind O&M equipment and services, as the most relevant client. This new activity, integrated in Operation and Maintenance, now has a team of around 1,000 professionals with experience in the sector.

In addition to the preventive maintenance of wind turbines, Solarig will add corrective services to its range of services, such as the inspection and repair of blades, the replacement of mechanical elements and the changing of gearbox oils.

Through its Energy Services division, Solarig carries out Operation and Maintenance operations for more than 12 GW of photovoltaic energy in 12 countries, including Spain, Italy and Portugal in Europe; Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Peru in Latin America; and Australia and Japan in Asia Pacific.

With more than 19 years of experience, Solarig provides comprehensive services in Operation and Maintenance, Technical Asset Management, Digital Services, and Technical Services. Solarig is currently ranked fourth in the world in the O&M (Operation & Maintenance) area of the photovoltaic sector according to the Wood Mackenzie ranking.
