Solarig holds its 2024 General Shareholders’ Meeting in Soria

Solarig held its General Shareholders’ Meeting on Friday 31 May at the Aula Magna Tirso de Molina in Soria. At the meeting, the financial results for 2023, the evolution of the business model and the most significant milestones of the year were presented. The total revenue figure reached 178 million euros; Gross Operating Profit (EBITDA) stood at 65 million euros; while the Net Profit was 55 million euros.

Project pipeline in 2023 exceeded 10,000 MW of renewable power generation projects, combining solar, wind and storage. In addition, the biomethane portfolio now exceeds 2,500 GWh/year. All this would not have been possible without the support and commitment of a team of more than 1,100 professionals in 12 countries.

At the meeting, the evolution of the company’s business model was presented, which is structured into three divisions: Renewable Electricity, which unifies solar photovoltaic, wind, technological hybridisation and storage projects; Green Gases, through Biorig, which is currently developing a portfolio of bio-methane and bio-CO₂ projects in Spain; and Sustainable Fuels, with the development of projects related to the production of alternative fuels to those of fossil origin.

New members of the Management Board

The Shareholders’ Meeting approved the appointment of two new Board Members: Manuel Alonso, General Manager of Solarig’s Green Gases Division, as a Non-Executive Proprietary Director; and Enrique Dupuy as an Independent Non-Executive Director. In addition, Clara Cerdán, Solarig’s Chief Legal Officer, was appointed as Non-Director Secretary to the Board of Directors.
