We are developing one of the most innovative sustainable ‘SAF’ aircraft fuel plants in the world. It will be located in the province of Soria, in the Parque Empresarial del Medio Ambiente (PEMA) located in the municipality of Garray.

The plant will have a production capacity of 60,000 tonnes of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel), the equivalent of 12,000 Madrid – Mallorca flights, avoiding the emission of 170,000 tonnes of CO₂. This facility will incorporate fully dedicated renewable assets such as a 370 MWp solar photovoltaic plant, a 50 MW wind farm, as well as storage through batteries of 100 MWh capacity.

The plant will combine – in the same facility – two routes for the production of PBS. The first, Gas-to-Liquid GTL, consists of the reforming of biomethane from the recovery of agricultural and livestock waste in the region. The second, Power-to-Liquid PTL, combines biogenic CO₂ with renewable hydrogen production.
