  • Experience: With more than 25 years of experience, he has developed his professional career in the service sector and in large utilities companies, holding various management positions in leading national and international companies such as Iberdrola and Calidad Pascual, among others. As part of his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to the energy transition, in 2005 he founded Solarig, a pioneering company in Spain, originally dedicated to investing in photovoltaic plants for the sale of electricity, which today is an organisation that offers sustainable energy solutions for society in 16 countries.

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Master in SME Management.
  • Experience: He began his professional career in the tax and labour consultancy at Adade Asesores, advising large companies. In 2006 he joined Solarig as an executive, where he has held various key positions leading the growth of the company in the areas of project development, financial structuring and sale of photovoltaic assets. Among others, he has held the position of Managing Director of Solarig EMEA. He became the General Manager of Solarig in 2019.

  • Education: PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Executive MBA from the Business Institute.
  • Experience: With more than 25 years in the energy sector, he began his professional career developing water supply and treatment projects at Ondagua. At Iberdrola he participated in electricity generation projects in various Latin American countries and has been responsible for the company’s Climate Change and Environment areas, defining the area of emissions trading, policies, sustainability indices and implementation of environmental management systems. Since joining Solarig, he has led the international growth of the company in countries such as Italy, the United Kingdom and Japan, the digital transformation and the sustainability strategy ESG Environment, Social & Government.

  • Education: Graduate in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid. He has Masters in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from the IEB and corporate finance from ESADE, as well as several PDAs from the most prestigious business schools.
  • Experience: He currently holds the position of Managing Director of the financial services company IWeM, where he is a founding partner. In addition to his duties as a director of the private equity management company ARRAIGO V&P, SGEIC, S.A., for more than 25 years he has held positions of responsibility in leading financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank, Santander, Inversis and more recently as Managing Director of Andbank Spain, as well as Vice President of Merchbanc and director of Columbus Mexico until 2020.

  • Education: Graduate in Law and Master in Community Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, he has carried out teaching work as a professor at said university, the Business Institute and CEU. He is the author of different articles and publications of a national and international nature.
  • Experience: President of the Madrid office of the Herbert Smith Freehills Spain law firm and of the Herbert Smith Freehills Spain Foundation. He specializes in energy, infrastructure, natural resources and the environment. He has more than 20 years of experience advising large companies, investment banks, private equity sponsors and public entities on both national and international operations, including acquisitions, public tenders, project financing, privatizations or regulatory matters. He has been an international partner at Garrigues, CEO of Garrigues Medio Ambiente, senior official in the Government of Spain and Partner, member of the Executive Committee and Global Director of the Infrastructure practice at Linklaters. Currently he holds the positions of Secretary of the board of the Spanish Consortium Alta Velocity Meca-Medina, Berkeley Minera España, Luxida, Cobre las Cruces, Inmet Cobre España and the Madrid Futuro Association. He is also a founding partner of the investment fund Carbonia Investments and Lodine Real Estate, as well as a promoter and investor in different renewable energy projects. He also appears as a patron of the Pro Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation Foundation and the Teatro Real.
