  • Experience: With more than 25 years of experience, he has developed his professional career in the service sector and in large utilities companies, holding various management positions in leading national and international companies such as Iberdrola and Calidad Pascual, among others. As part of his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to the energy transition, in 2005 he founded Solarig, a pioneering company in Spain, originally dedicated to investing in photovoltaic plants for the sale of electricity, which today is an organisation that offers sustainable energy solutions for society in 16 countries.

  • Experience: He began his professional career in the tax and labour consultancy at Adade Asesores, advising large companies. In 2006 he joined Solarig as an executive, where he has held various key positions leading the growth of the company in the areas of project development, financial structuring and sale of photovoltaic assets. Among others, he has held the position of Managing Director of Solarig EMEA. He became the General Manager of Solarig in 2019.

  • Education: PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Executive MBA from the Business Institute.
  • Experience: With more than 25 years in the energy sector, he began his professional career developing water supply and treatment projects at Ondagua. At Iberdrola he participated in electricity generation projects in various Latin American countries and has been responsible for the company’s Climate Change and Environment areas, defining the area of emissions trading, policies, sustainability indices and implementation of environmental management systems. Since joining Solarig, he has led the international growth of the company in countries such as Italy, the United Kingdom and Japan, the digital transformation and the sustainability strategy ESG Environment, Social & Government.

  • Education: Forestry Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from the University of Malaga.
  • Experience: He has more than 20 years of experience in national and international markets in the wood and agriculture sector, as well as in the generation of electricity and heat from biomass and gas. He has developed his professional activity occupying different positions of responsibility in the company specialised in wood Losan. He has led the development, implementation and operation of different production centres in countries such as the Netherlands, Romania and the United States. He is an expert in intensive and irrigated industrial agriculture through his extensive experience in the management and operation of large agricultural and forage farms in Central Europe. In 2023 he joins Solarig as Managing Director of the Green Gases division. Through Biorig, he aims to position the organisation as a national and international benchmark in the development and operation of biomethane plants; and in the modular capture of biogenic CO₂.

  • Education: Graduate in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid. He has Masters in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from the IEB and corporate finance from ESADE, as well as several PDAs from the most prestigious business schools.
  • Experience: He currently holds the position of Managing Director of the financial services company IWeM, where he is a founding partner. In addition to his duties as a director of the private equity management company ARRAIGO V&P, SGEIC, S.A., for more than 25 years he has held positions of responsibility in leading financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank, Santander, Inversis and more recently as Managing Director of Andbank Spain, as well as Vice President of Merchbanc and director of Columbus Mexico until 2020.

  • Education: Engineer from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Minas y Energía of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. MBA (Master in Business Administration) from IESE Business School, and Master in European Studies at CEU.
  • Experience: He is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Wizz Air Holding, a UK listed airline; and an Independent Non-Executive Director of Mobico Group, an international transport operator. He has had an extensive career in the aviation industry where he has held the position of Chief Financial Officer of International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (IAG), and of the airline Iberia. During his time at IAG he led the financial strengthening and expansion of IAG, and played a key role in the Group’s acquisitions of BMI, Vueling, Aer Lingus and the creation of Level. He has also held non-executive positions at Amadeus IT Group, S.A, British Airways and Iberia.

  • Education: She holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid (Extraordinary Award), and in Business Administration and Management from the European Business School (Madrid, London and Paris). She also has a General Management Programme (PDG) from IESE, and has completed several programmes at prestigious business schools such as the Advance Management Program at Wharton Business School; the Senior Management Programme (Promociona) at ESADE; and the Global Leadership Program at Harvard Kenedy School.
  • Experience: With more than 20 years of experience, she has developed her career as an in-house and corporate lawyer, acting as director of legal advice for large companies in the industrial and infrastructure sector such as Ferrogloble, Sacyr, as well as in the firm Garrigues. She is also co-founder and vice-president of the non-profit organisation ‘Women in a Legal World’. She joins Solarig to lead the legal area and simultaneously develops her teaching career as a professor of Compliance and CSR at universities such as ICADE, Carlos III or the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
