Madrid, 20 April 2026.—Solarig has surpassed 1 GW of wind assets under Operation and Maintenance (O&M) management after securing new portfolios in the ‘Wind’ sector in Spain and, for the first time, thanks to the signing of its first contracts in Latin America. The company has thus consolidated its position as one of the leading players in the comprehensive management of renewable assets globally, a milestone that coincides with the first anniversary of the start of its activities in the wind energy sector. This growth forms part of Solarig’s diversification strategy towards the management of renewable assets such as solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), high-voltage (HV) lines, renewable gases and wind assets.

Solarig is establishing itself as a key player in wind asset management by servicing the most advanced wind turbines on the market, such as those from Vestas and Siemens Gamesa. Overall, Solarig’s wind O&M portfolio will prevent the emission of over 1 million tonnes of CO₂ into the atmosphere, producing clean energy that will help power nearly 1 million homes and reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability and the fight against climate change.

Consolidation and expansion of the ‘Wind’ portfolio in Europe

In Spain, the company has significantly strengthened its portfolio, which now exceeds 500 MW in wind O&M services, spread across wind farms in Albacete, Soria, Cádiz, Zaragoza and Huesca. In this way, Solarig has doubled its managed capacity in Spain since the start of its operations in 2025 and has laid solid foundations to become a leading player in preventive and corrective maintenance in other European countries, such as Italy and Portugal.

Expansion of wind energy services to Mexico and Chile

In Mexico, Solarig has been awarded the contract for the preventive and corrective maintenance of five wind farms located in the state of Oaxaca, one of the regions with the highest concentration of wind resources in the country. The company is thus expanding its wind asset management operations into Latin America for the first time and will manage 234 Siemens Gamesa wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 468 MW.

The growth of the portfolio in Mexico will also be bolstered by a further 200 MW recently agreed in northern Chile, placing the focus of growth in the ‘Wind’ segment on the Latin American market, where Solarig is already the leading operator of solar assets with over 8 GW in its portfolio and nearly 800 professionals on the ground. This milestone reinforces Solarig’s positioning as a global renewable asset management platform with a growing base of recurring revenue and long-term contracts.
