Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility implies the company´s commitment to economic development based on ethical behavior and improving the lives of its employees and of the community that surrounds it.
Solarig´s actions are based on mutual trust within the company formed by creating open channels of communication with employees as well as social and corporate groups that our company has a relationship with. The main objective of this is to increase satisfaction, meet requests, reduce operating risks and take advantage of competitive advantages.
The company is looking to combine corporate efficiency with CSR principles, operating in a sustainable, economic and environmental manner by incorporating the needs of the interest groups.
As a company supporting the United Nations´ Global Compact, Solarig assumes the voluntary commitment of implementing the 10 principles based on human, labor, and environmental rights as well as fighting against corruption in all its activities:
- Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights.
- Make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
- Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
- The elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour.
- The effective abolition of child labour.
- The elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
- Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges.
- Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.
- Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
- Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
