Solarig Italia Operation & Maintenance, closed in Q1 2012, three new agreements with major companies for the operation of 42.6 PV MW in Italy. This consolidates the company as an O&M leader in the Italian market with more than 120MW in operation in the country.

This contract comprises 9 PV installations located in the regions of Lazio and Puglia with capacities ranging from 3 MW up to 11MW. The incorporation of this 42.6MW reaffirms the confidence of a large number of Investment Funds and Companies in the sector who want to secure their investment with an experienced and prestigious company as Solarig. The already strong portfolio of clients of the division of O&M, sums up over 200 MW in operation between Italy, Spain and France.

The trust given by Solarig’s O&M clients is also supported by independent technical advisors and financial institutions, recognizing the Group as an optimal operator for Project Finance at European level, guaranteeing the bankability of its contracts.

Furthermore, the division of O&M has recently absorbed the facility management company Altrium Energy Facility Services, focused on the administration of energy assets, all in order to offer a comprehensive management service that allows photovoltaic investors and customers to get a full insurance in production and therefore on investment. In this respect, the recent signing of 17 new MW in March with an international group, allows Altrium Energy to manage a photovoltaic asset portfolio worth over € 653 million.

The responsible executive of Solarig Italy O&M, Gianluca Bruno, has declared “With the incorporation of Altrium Energy services and the confidence gained from market, we will comfortably reach Solarig’s O&M goal for 2012, 400MW in operation and maintenance and 1,000 million euros in PV assets value under management.

Solarig secures an investment of over 65 million Euros with the construction of 21 MW in 2011 among Italy, France and Spain. This way, the company reaffirms its international presence as it surpasses 105 MW connected in Europe with an accumulated investment of over 400 million Euros in photovoltaic assets, a figure that could increase in the following months after the analysis of new projects.

The investments are distributed among France (6.3 MW), Italy (13 MW) and Spain (1.7 MW). In July, construction was started on a 1 MW rooftop installation in the PACA (Provenza – Alpes – Costa Azul) region of France, which is to be followed by the construction of a second project consisting of a 5.3 MW ground installation in the Limousin region. Both installations will be located in high radiation areas within the country.

Solarig continues its commitment to the Italian market where it is investing a total of 40 million Euros in the construction of 9 photovoltaic parks. In July the company started building a new 2.5 MW park in the Sicily region and connected another 2.2 MW installation in Umbria, to be added to more than 8.2 MW built in the first half of the year. With these new installations, Solarig´s total number of projects built in this country climbs up to 60 MW. Furthermore, the Company has a project portfolio of more than 100 MW in the Italian market that is currently being evaluated by the technical team in the Rome office.

In Spain, two rooftop installations have been completed in the Community of Madrid with a total power of 1.7 MW. These installations were built after a leasing contract was signed with an important French distribution group, for which Solarig has two of its main logistics centers’ roofs, with more than 20,000 m2, at its disposition for these solar installations.

Ricardo del Barrio, Director of Engineering and Construction for the group has expressed his satisfaction with the building rhythm that the company is maintaining, ¨it is a challenge to simultaneously manage construction in 3 different countries, each with their own technical peculiarities.¨

The total power built by the group at the end of 2011 will be 20.9 MW, those of which 8.2 MW have been developed in the first half of the year. Additionally, Solarig, as part of its strategic plan, is planning to develop up to 300 MW in the next few years and is currently working on specific projects in more than 15 countries.

10-05-11

This photovoltaic product designed for homes by multinational company Solarig will expand its sales network throughout the country in order to widen their presence to all regions of Italy in the upcoming months.

This expansion comes as a result of the positive reception noted at SolarExpo 2011 and the amount of preliminary agreements that were signed there.

The MySolarig project goes hand in hand with an extensive network of authorized installers and energy assessors that offer a competitive, simple and attractive business model that has been adapted to the new tariffs for the Italian market that were published last Thursday.

MySolarig has selected its agents based on their technical and commercial knowledge in order to guarantee excellence for all services offered according to procedures defined in their quality standards.

Solarig, which is hoping to reach 2,000 individual installations by the end of this year, has very extensive experience, which adds to the already numerous number of advantages coming from owning a private photovoltaic installation.

The ever nearing arrival of Grid Parity, the rise of fossil fuel prices, the production of clean energy and the need to care for the environment reaffirm the fundamental commitment to this type of installation, which has been reinforced by the approval of the new Conto de Energia.
